The Marriage Course has been run in over 127 countries for over 1 million couples and consists of two courses: The Marriage Course and The Pre-Marriage Course.
The Marriage Courses The Pre-Marriage Course and The Parenting Courses act as a bridge between the church and the local community by recognising the need to go beyond the social, as well as physical, walls of the church to help couples with their relationships. The Marriage Course is designed to be easy for churches to run; with episodes that are available to buy and download online, along with training, guides, and journals. The sessions are completely private, with no group work.
The Marriage Course
The Marriage Course was developed in 1996 by Nicky and Sila Lee for couples who are married or in a long-term relationship seeking practical support to strengthen their relationship, keep the spark alive and stay connected. Over seven sessions, the course covers: Strengthening Connection, The Art of Communication, Resolving Conflict, The Power of Forgiveness, The Impact of Family, Good Sex and Love in Action.
The Pre-Marriage Course
The Pre-Marriage Course was developed in 1985 by Nicky and Sila Lee to help couples who are engaged or exploring marriage build strong foundations for a lasting relationship. Over five sessions, the course covers: Communication, Conflict, Commitment, Connection and Adventure.
The Parenting Courses
The Parenting Children Course and The Parenting Teenagers Course are easy-to-run, practical five-session courses designed to support parents or carers who want to invest in their relationships with their children and/or teenagers. No expertise is needed to run the courses.
